Newsletter #11…Warm New Year Greetings,
Since our last newsletter we have concentrated on developing many new, tasty and nutritious products. As each new flavour leaves our bakery for its introduction to you, we are excited and eager to hear from you. Much time and experimentation goes into each new product. Every new pita and every new lavash leaves our bakery only when we are totally satisfied that we are bringing to you the very best in every way.
Our Morning Grain has just begun to make its debut and so far it is flying off the shelves. It joins our Breakfast Muesli and Apple Cinnamon as another great way to start your day. The Morning Grain pita is loaded with sunflower and flax seeds, oats, millet, cracked rye and more. This pita is savoury and less sweet than the Breakfast Muesli.
As a result of a trip to Finland last year, we learned that rye is a favoured grain in Scandinavian countries. As a member of the wild grass family, it grows well in challenging climates. Enter a supermarket in any of these countries and as far as the eye can see there are rows filled with rye breads, rolls and buns.
Today, we are very excited to bring to you our first new rye product. We call it Finland Rye. Everyone who has tried it has loved its wonderful full flavour. We've been told that slicing this pita into two thin halves and toasting it enhances its already great taste. We hope that when you try Finland Rye it becomes a favourite in your home. Our final new product is one that two generations of Ozerys have been unable to produce until now. We celebrate our good fortune and welcome with love the birth of a healthy baby girl who has joined our all boy family. This new line is still somewhat unfamiliar to us. Every time we change her diaper we have to remind ourselves that no ingredient is missing. As always, we are happy to share a favourite family recipe from our home to yours. It is printed on the other side of this newsletter. Enjoy!
