Newsletter #13…

Warm Greetings,

Always and sincerely, we begin our newsletters by thanking you for your ongoing loyalty and enthusiasm for our Pita Break products. We are constantly striving to bring you the best in quality, flavour and nutrition. Your positive feedback is very much appreciated by our entire family.

In keeping with our commitment to excellence, we are pleased and very proud to tell you that we have earned HACCP accreditation from the American Institute of Baking and The Guelph Food Technology Centre. This accreditation recognizes the highest level of quality and safety that a North American bakery or food manufacturer can receive. As well as pleased and proud, we are very grateful to the many staff members who worked so diligently with us to ensure that HACCP's high standards were achieved. We couldn't have done it without them.

Likewise, we have recently welcomed Carol into the extended Pita Break family as our manager of product development. Every day she brings creativity, high spirits and positive energy to the job. She is busy creating new products and new tastes and we all love being her taste testers. When everyone on staff suddenly takes a break, we know that Carol has set out samples. That's when we insist that everyone line up in alphabetical order starting with Ozery.

You may have noticed the new, long, slim shape of our lavash grain crackers in their easy to organic spelt and organic whole wheat. Ready to taste them and can't find them in your local store? Just call Christine (416-630-4224) or e-mail us ( mail@pitabreak.com) and we'll be happy to tell you where to find them and send you a free sample.

We've made some minor changes to our smiling pita man seen running across our packages. We also have a new tag line, "Happy People Baking". The truth is, we do have a happy bakery staff and do our utmost to show everyone how much we appreciate their work ethic and loyalty. We believe that the atmosphere in which products are made is as important as the ingredients that go into them.

Our brother, the youngest of three, is getting married in April. Our future sister-in-law has passed all of the Ozery family tests with flying colours. She has ignored our idiosyncrasies, laughed at our stories, embraced our children and agreed to support our brother, the struggling artist. We welcome her with love.

We like to include a recipe for an easy and tasty treat with every one of our newsletters. Look on the back of this page for our latest offering.

We end this newsletter with our familiar and sincere refrain of THANK YOU for your continuing support and enthusiasm for our Ozery Pita Break products.
